Description: A basic single edged katana with hilt wrapped in a light blue colored cloth. The handguard radiates from the katana in the form of four golden pointed curves, all pointing in the same direction.

Shikai Appearance: Two blades of different appearance and sizes. The first blade resembles a wide, broad sword, comletely solid in design. The handguard of this sword actually extends up to the shinigami's wrist, protecting the hand from any damage during battle. The second blade is much smaller in size and has a sharp, viciousl looking serrated edge. The handguard and hilt of this sword resembles that of the unreleased state.

Shikai Ability: The larger blade acts as a defense blade. Calling out the command Teiryuu, Amatsukaze will allow the formation of a spiraling wind shield that is very effective at blocking projectile attacks, but not very effective against close range melee combat. The smaller serrated blade acts as an offensive blade. Using the command Houraku, Amatsukaze, the user can cause a dense wave of wind that travels at high speeds towards her opponent. In addition to causing direct damage, this ability also produces gusts to block an opponent's vision for a sneak attack.
